Some adapter models come with a small bracket in the product package, to be used in a low profile slot. If you need to install the adapter in a low-profile slot, follow these instructions.
Before handling the adapter, ground yourself to dissipate any static charge.
Remove the two screws securing the standard bracket to the back side of the adapter.
Slide the bracket away from the adapter.
Slide the low profile bracket onto the adapter.
Attach the low profile bracket to the adapter using the screws you removed in step 2.
Carefully tighten the screws until they are seated. Do not over tighten.
You may re-attach the standard sized bracket in the future if necessary.
